With the best locations and the most knowledgeable, professional and equipped staffing in the world, California remains and always will be the best place to say “Action!” The annual California Locations Conference showcased the best California has to offer in the way of locations, local production support and incentives, and offered in-depth panel discussions on maximizing production opportunities when shooting here in the Golden State. Filmmakers and location professionals networked recently with each other and with representatives from 42 film commissions and offices from all over California.
Afterwards, all were feted at a reception, with the attendees meeting one-on-one with the film commissions who also shared some of the state’s best wines with the guests. The event was hosted by FLICS (Film Liaisons in California Statewide, Inc.) and the California Film Commission. More information on filming on location in California can be found here.
